H.M. Enterprise (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was established on 31 October 1975 with registration No. 24560- H. This company was established and founded by its founder the late Hj. Mahmud bin Hj. Said and was aims to continue his business to family members. HAJI MAHMUD BIN HAJI SAID (1917-2006) started working in the construction field since 1960. He was registered as a class 'F' work contractor at JKR Terengganu starting in 1960. Class 'F' at JPT Terengganu in 1965. In 1965 registration at JKR Terengganu was raised to EX class then to E class in 1968 and further raised to D class in 1976 until 1982. H.M. ENTERPRISE (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD (HME), Since around 1982 the registration of contractors was still carried out by the respective government departments, HME took over the business of its founder by changing the ownership of the registration of class D contractors, Haji Mahmud B. Haji Said in JKR Terengganu to this company in 1982. From that moment the HME business began to operate with the involvement of the founder's children. After starting operations, HME has been approved for registration as a 'BX' class contractor with JKR Malaysia and class C with JPT Malaysia. When the contractor service registration agency (PKK) was first created by the government around 1984, HME was successfully registered to class B with the PKK from 18 August 1999 to 2005. In the era of 2005 to 2018 where the national economy grew rapidly and many projects HME government successfully registered with CIDB as a G7 contractor. Starting in 2019 the company registered as a G6 contractor with CIDB and then to G5 in 2021 until now. This is in accordance with the current needs of the company and also with the current state of the construction industry. In 1985, HME was appointed as a vendor of Petronas Dagangan Sdn Bhd and was given the opportunity to build, upgrade and maintain Petronas gas stations throughout the country. The total value of the work amounted to RM 32,548,517.91 until the year 2011. The total value of the work from various departments/ministries that have been completed from 1982 to now according to the time period is: 1982-1985 (RM 5.23 million), 1986-1990 (RM 9.04 million), 1991 -1994 (RM 19.08 million), 1995-1998 (RM 12.79 million), 1999-2000 (RM 7.09 million), 2001- 2007 (RM 38.84 million), 2009-2014 (RM 52.77 million), 2017-present (RM 1.3 million). A large amount of RM 153.374 Million. H.M.Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd has obtained the ISO-9001 : 2000 recognition certificate (Certificate No : QS6730) on 21st December 2008, which was issued by WQA / UKAS.
